This week we'll be working out of MAKE maker-space in the Lethaby Gallery. We'll be manufacturing using a CNC machine, sanding, painting, and assembling. Come help!
This week we're excited to be working out MAKE's makerspace where we'll be manufacturing our designs for the first time at a 1:1 scale.
The street furniture we've designed with residents from Somers Town has been prototyped using 1:4 laser cutting, and now we'll be moving onto CNC manufacturing to create 1:1 pieces.
Open to the public, the space will be hosting a number of community based open manufacturing projects. You'll be able to participate around the space, learning about the various machines, and contributing your thoughts on what type of makerspace you'd like to see in Camden in the future.
We need your help! You'll be able to try out the service we've designed and explore the different pieces of furniture as we go. Sanding, painting, building, lifting, whatever your skill set we'll find a place for you to join in.
